billywizzo Posted February 9, 2011 Report Posted February 9, 2011 Sounds about right.You can get a cheaper one (BERU GH001) from an auto factors but I don't think they last as long.The newer uprated one will have the leads attached and you need to remove the old leads from the heater plug when you fit it.The cheaper one is just a straight swap. gregers Posted February 9, 2011 Report Posted February 9, 2011 (edited) my local vw were charging £60 for the new plug,and it was order only.Have you fixed it now Greg M8 of course i havnt,lol. hopefully in the next few weeks i will get round to it,still sorting things out m8 B). but hopefully once ive sourced a cheaper place?to buy the new type plug i will fit it to the newer unit.and fingers crossed it should spark into life :rolleyes : as afaik it hadnt flamed out just was rather smokey.if not chris,it could lead to me taking a trip up to kent to see you m8 :blush:because i still cant get vag to talk to much of my car,bloody things :46: Edited February 9, 2011 by gregers Quote
